Updates

Just popping in for a few quick updates. We are in the middle of buying a home and also listing our current home for sale. If all continues to go well, we are set to close the day after Thanksgiving. Needless to say, it's hard to keep my house picture perfect for a realtor to show at any time with a little baby in the house. So there hasn't been much time for crafting. Hopefully, once we make the move and I get my new craft room (yes, a whole room!) set up, there will be more time for creativity-but it's looking like it might be after the holidays.

Also, baby Corbin is crawling and golly, can he move fast! He is also pulling up on everything which makes for one exhausted mama. We haven't installed the baby gates since we are planning to move soon, so I am right behind him on all of his explorations.

Some of you know about my brother-in-law...he has been moved out of intensive care, but is still in the hospital. He is blind in one eye and can only see shadows from the other. There are other medical issues, but we still don't know the extent of them yet. They are currently looking for housing for him, probably in a care facility and he will need some psychiatric care to deal with his attempt at suicide and the aftermath. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!

  1. What a challenge to keep your house show-ready! What fun to have a baby to keep up to - though exhausting as well.
I am offering prayers for your brother-in-law. May he experience a good recovery - it does sound like a long road ahead.

  2. Goodness, you will certainly be in my thoughts. We just moved, but we rent here in the USA so it wasn't anywhere near as stressful as the selling process! I hope it all goes well, in my experience I'd make myself a little "sanity" kit of stamping stuff - just for those mad moments when you need to do ANYTHING other than packing/unpacking.

Leo is still trying to swim across the floor. No crawling yet, thankfully! When they're first on the move it is really scary!

I am glad your BIL is making progress. That's going to be a long journey. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts. xxx
